A band that has re-emerged like a phoenix from ashes: The Phoenix Tour Part I

STOOP KID
Stoop Kid (B)) is the jangly indie rock project of Diest-born Jens Rubens. After Camp Careful (2021) and Mount Cope (2023), Stoop Kid returned in 2025 with his third full-length album Office Overdue, a ten-song collection that captures the quiet fatigue, flickering humor, and fragile hope of keeping it together in a world that won’t slow down.

THE SCABS
Excellent and especially cheering news: the two The Scabs concerts on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 April 2026 are entirely sold out. After a silence of more than five years – their last (sold-out) concert series dates from 2019 – fans were clearly hungry for more. Inspired by this great audience response, the band is now adding a third show to the series.
And there’s more good news! Their classic Hard Times is currently being inducted into Radio 2’s Hall of Fame as we speak, alongside other Belgian universal classics like Oh La La La (T.C. Matic), De Zotte Morgen (Zjef Vanuytsel), Mijn Vlakke Land (Jacques Brel), What’s A Woman (Vaya Con Dios), Eerste Sneeuw (Jan De Wilde), Je T’Adore (Kate Ryan) and There Will Be No Next Time (The Kids). Respect!
The Scabs
The bond between The Scabs and AB is no minor one. At the request of AB, The Scabs reunited in 2007 as a part of the renowned REWIND series to play the classic Royalty In Exile in its entirety. The three sold-out reunion concerts – the band had split in 1996 – were an instant success. And it seems that the best years were yet to come.
