How do I get to AB? And back home?
By train (for half price)
AB is only a 10-minute walk from Brussels Central Station. With a Bravo! Ticket AB you can travel there and back without parking stress and for half price. The discount code for this train ticket can be found on your concert ticket.
- There: from any Belgian station to Brussels Central, on the day of your concert.
- Back: from Brussels Central to the station you departed from, on the day of your concert or the day after. (Most concerts finish at around 10:30 pm, so you’ll probably still make it to the last train.)
Travelling from a neighbouring country?
Combine your Bravo! Ticket AB with a ticket that is valid on the foreign railway network up to the Belgian border.
More info to be found at nmbs.be/bravo!.
By bus, tram or metro (free with STIB)
There is an Event Pass (QR) code on your AB-concert ticket that you can use to obtain a transport ticket.
This entitles you to two free trips on the tram, bus and metro network of the MIVB, on the day of your concert or the day after. The closest MIVB stops are 'Beurs' and 'De Brouckère’.
How does it work?
- Get your transport ticket at one of the 375 GO vending machines, no more than 3 days in advance.
- Select 'Event Pass' on the screen.
- Hold your QR code in front of the barcode reader or manually the 9-digit number on the touchscreen.
- Validate your ticket when travelling, just having your AB ticket is not enough when being checked by the conductor.
- Show your transport ticket, if requested by the conductor.
More info can be found at STIB.be.
By bike
We have a parking spot inside AB for folding-bicycles. To make use of this, just speak to one of our stewards on the day of your concert. Don’t forget to bring your own bicycle lock.
In pre-metro station Beurs you will find a secure bicycle parking place for a good rate. More info about this to be found at Cycloparking.be. There are also free bicycle racks managed by the City of Brussels available at various locations around the AB.
You can rent a shared bike cheaply via villo.be. There are two Villo! stations only 3 minutes walk from the AB:
- Station Fontainas (Anspachlaan 180), 3 min. walk
- Station Beurs (Paul Delvauxstraat), 3 min. walk
By car
AB is situated in the middle of the pedestrian zone on the Anspachlaan. You can park your car in one of the pay-parking garages nearby or at one of the free parking lots on the edge of the city – from there you can easily take a bus, tram or metro.
More info to be found at www.brussel.be/parkings.
The Brussels-Capital Region is a Low Emission Zone (LEZ). If you’re travelling by car or in a van, check the lez.brussels site to find out if your vehicle is affected.
- Q-Parks five minutes’ walk from AB: Dansaert and Lepage.
- Q-Park where you can park a van for wheelchair users, ten minutes away from AB: Albertina.
