The Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Ancienne Belgique, together with Pilar and student associations Limburgia and Campina, dive into the female hip hop scene from the 70s 80s 90s. Brussels DJ collective, Supafly, has long been known for its amplification of the female voices in the hip-hop scene. Their weekly radio show on Bruzz and the parties they curated are a collection of the best tunes from the past and new talent in the scene. On April 1 they’ll play back-to-back with LeFtO, one of the leading DJs in Belgium – and further afield – for more than twenty five years now. He too has introduced a great deal of new talent in his radio shows and as curator of various concerts.
