Welcome to the festive opening of the photo exhibition Back/Stage.
 
"Back/Stage, a portrait of Ancienne Belgique is the last act of Willem Mevis's trajectory as the in-house photographer of AB (2024-2026). During his time here, he lost himself in the maze of the backstage. Corridors and storage rooms. In the act of getting lost, he found his inspiration. Mevis documents the backstage as a character."
 
On September 17, we’ll celebrate the opening of our in-house photographer Willem Mevis’s exhibition, Back/Stage, a Portrait of Ancienne Belgique. Everyone is warmly invited to join us for this special evening, with snacks, drinks and (of course) music.
 
The exhibition officially opens at 8 PM and will be on display at AB throughout the entire concert season. During the opening, you’ll also have the chance to take a first look inside our new buildings on Steenstraat.
