New album Never/Know
Last August, they electrified the Pukkelpop festival grounds with an energetic show. The Kooks are in top form and prove it with a new album, entitled “Never/Know,” and a tour that will bring them back to our country in 2026!
Over the years, The Kooks have established themselves as one of the pillars of English indie rock thanks to an exemplary career that began in 2006 with “Inside In/Inside Out.” Their iconic debut album, which went quadruple platinum, is full of timeless classics such as “Naive,” “Seaside,” and “She Moves in Her Own Way” and is considered the soundtrack for an entire generation. It was a resounding success that put the young English band on the world stage for good. Since then, the group has continued to evolve with numerous albums, including “Let's Go Sunshine” (2018) and “10 Tracks To Echo In The Dark” (2022), recorded in Berlin and London. The latter album perfectly reflects their desire to return to their roots while integrating synthpop, funk, and progressive rock. Thanks to their constant, free, and sparkling creativity, they have won over a new generation of fans, who are attracted to both their early and modernist influences.
Led by the charismatic Luke Pritchard, The Kooks show a new maturity with “Never/Know” without losing any of their infectious enthusiasm. The group continues to gather an ever-growing audience, driven by a connecting energy that transforms every concert.
