Songwriter, singer and guitarist Ben Chasny – also known from legendary American noise rock band Comets On Fire – started his Six Organs of Admittance project in the late ‘90s. With it, he became one of the pioneers of the new folk movement, along with Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom and CocoRosie.
After countless projects (such as Badgerlore, August Born, 200 Years, Rangda, …) and more than twenty albums, Chasny experienced another creative peak year in 2024. Aside from several tours of the US (including one with Tashi Dorji), he released the solo album Time Is Glass on Drag City and the double album Jinxed By Being with Shackleton.
In the spring of 2025, he is heading to Europe and also visiting the AB Club. A not-to-be-missed concert.

Hellvete
Hellvete is the solo moniker of Glen Steenkiste. Previously active in Silvester Anfang and Sylvester Anafng II and one of the founders of Het Interstedelijk Harmoniumverbond. Solo Steenkiste draws influences from early Minimalism and old folk music and with the use of harmonium and shruti box he creates probing intense sounds that try to undo notions of time and place. Hellvete’s music is like taking an endless shower of sunbeams, warm, comforting and mind-altering. Music that makes time stand still and focuses on shifting details and textures, but massive in sound and presence. “
