Exit light, enter night. Take my hand, we’re off to AB-Land!
The new concert season at AB sounds HEAVY-er than ever! There’ll be no less than 50(!) bands with heavy guitars performing on AB stages this year!
And, of those 50 bands, a notable number are Belgians: Amenra (4x!), Brutus (3x!), Pothamus, Doodseskader, Ramkot, …In other words, the heavier genres are more popular than ever and, despite our black attire, we’re not at all sad about that.
HELL YEAH! See you in the ‘pit!

- Black Metal Rainbows bookpresentation & concerts THU 03 OCT '24
The evening kicks off with the book presentation of Black Metal Rainbows by Daniel Lukes and Stanimir Panayotov. Melanika Vainshtein will moderate the discussion. Following, there will be concerts by VULVA + Acidic Male and Rattenburcht. There are still tickets available.
- Beartooth + Polaris, LANDMVRKS MON 28 + THU 29 OCT '24
American metalcore band will put out its 5th album ‘The Surface’. There are still tickets available.
- Brutus THU 28 NOV '24
In February 2023, Brutus played the album release show for Unison Life at AB. 24 months and 144 shows in very many countries later, they close this brilliant chapter. To complete the circle, they will of course appear again at Ancienne Belgique with the BYE BYE UNISON LIVE show.

- Alcest + + Svalbard, Doodseskader THU 05 DEC '24
In the year 2000, Frenchman Stéphane Paut or ‘Neige’ established the band Alcest. Their music is often described as atmospheric black-metal with dreamy shoegaze influences: a unique style that makes them a one-of-a-kind band. At the end of this year, they’ll be coming to introduce us to their latest album during their Les Chants de l’Aurore tour. There are still tickets available.
