On Sunday, May 18, AB organized a special edition of KETCLUB in collaboration with Start Making Sense, in support of the HOPE Foundation, an organization that provides aid to children in Gaza. An impressive €11.424 was raised: thank you to everyone who joined us or purchased a support card.
KETCLUB offers concerts tailored for young audiences. This special edition turned into a mini-festival, following the successful Start Making Sense album, a unique collection of songs by 60 Belgian artists, created as a creative act of protest against the injustice in Gaza. The album has already raised €10,740 and is still available on Bandcamp. On the AB stage that Sunday: Chibi Ichigo, Borokov Borokov, Sophia Rodriguez, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Lefto Early Bird* & Fatoosan*, and De Biggies.
All proceeds from the concert go to the HOPE Foundation, which, through its Cultural Emergency Fund, provides psychosocial and artistic support to children in Gaza, and helps meet essential needs like food, water, and shelter. Together with artists, musicians, and teachers, the HOPE Foundation ensures that even in the face of ongoing genocide, children can still be children. This, through activities ranging from movie nights to music and dance classes.
*With special thanks to Lefto Early Bird & Fatoosan.
