'Brilliant harpist' (NY Times) reworks Aphex Twin, Radiohead, Rosalía & more
Remy van Kesteren grew to become an established name on classical concert stages in record time, yet decided to take a different course. His love of the classical repertoire remains the point of departure but the harpist now also makes pop music, inspired by the pop festivals and live concerts in clubs that he has attended.
On October 5 he presents his brand new album Muses in AB – named after the nine muses of ancient Greek mythology. “I’m hugely looking forward to bringing this music to life in the legendary AB Club, with my harp, of course, but also synths, loops and effects”, he lets us know in advance.
Remy already stopped by to record a beautiful acoustic AB Session of Avril 14th (Aphex Twin). Listen in and be sure to drop by on October 5 to see this impressive harpist t live at work.
