'Brilliant harpist' (NY Times) reworks Aphex Twin, Radiohead, RosalĂa & more
Remy van Kesteren grew to become an established name on classical concert stages in record time, yet decided to take a different course. His love of the classical repertoire remains the point of departure but the harpist now also makes pop music, inspired by the pop festivals and live concerts in clubs that he has attended.
On October 5 he presents his brand new album Muses in AB â named after the nine muses of ancient Greek mythology. âIâm hugely looking forward to bringing this music to life in the legendary AB Club, with my harp, of course, but also synths, loops and effectsâ, he lets us know in advance.
