British quartet translate their formidable live reputation into a superb debut album

The British quartet Keo, centred around brothers Finn and Conor Keogh, have built up a formidable live reputation over the past few years at DIY gigs that are often bursting with energy. On their debut album *Put A Smile On For Me*, they continue in the same vein with a mix of Pearl Jam-style grunge, 90s alternative rock and contemporary British guitar music in the vein of Fontaines D.C. Kerrang! awarded the album 5/5 and described it as “a giant leap for bandkind”, whilst Rolling Stone highlights Keo as one of the most interesting new guitar bands of their generation.
