Rising-star duo of the jazzy hip-hop scene

In no time at all, Antwerp duo blackwave. became one of the most hyped hip-hop acts in the land. Their sexy grooves and nineties sound are supported live by a fantastic jazz band, with which they drew attention at Rock Werchter, in De Roma, and at their previous visit to AB… amongst other venues.

It’s now two years since their debut ‘Mic check’ was released, which was followed by rave reviews from both local and foreign music critics, European prizes, and nominations for the likes of the Red Bull Elektropedia Awards. The guys from Antwerp have now become unavoidable on the radio, with singles like ‘BIG Dreams’, ‘Elusive’, ‘Whasgood?’ and ‘GoodEnough’. A few weeks ago, together with Caleborate, they released the single ‘home’ that was then picked up by Studio Brussel as ‘catch of the day’. And there is more to follow in 2019!
