Use Knife is a band consisting of Iraqi singer and percussionist Saif Al-Qaissy and Belgian musicians Kwinten Mordijck and Stef Heeren. The trio combines Eastern and Western music, blending electronic rhythms with passionate Southern drum patterns. The band incorporates political messages into their music, addressing themes such as freedom, responsibility, and the divide between Eastern and Western ways of thinking. For their live show, Use Knife collaborates with Youniss Ahamad, a multidisciplinary artist who will elevate the performance through scenography and visuals.
