The concert season is slowly coming to an end – time for the summer festivals to begin! Our friends at OLT Rivierenhof are giving away a duo ticket for Kwashibu Area Band on July 6.

In June 2024, Soundway Records released a groundbreaking compilation: 'Ghana Special: Electronic Highlife & Afro Sounds In The Diaspora'. A tribute to the vibrant musical culture of Ghana and its diaspora in the 1980s and 90s. To mark this release, Soundway joins forces with Ben Abarbanel-Wolff from the Kwashibu Area Band and Kwame Yeboah to create a unique live experience.

This show bridges classic highlife, Afro-funk, West African disco, and the early sounds that would later evolve into Afrobeats.
A stunning line-up of Ghanaian music legends will share the stage. Expect a fiery performance from festival favourite Pat Thomas, Charles Amoah & K.O.G., backed by the phenomenal Kwashibu Area Band.
