This autumn, three labels take centre stage at AB.
Independent record labels are often more than just places where music is released. They create networks around artists, bring scenes together and give space to music that doesn’t always find its way to a wider audience. AB has had a strong connection with independent labels for many years, from international names such as Warp and Ninja Tune to Brussels-based players like Bongo Joe and Crevette.
Humpty Dumpty Records celebrates 20 years of Brussels creativity on Sunday 27 September.
The Brussels-based label reflects the musical undercurrents of the city and, for two decades, has moved between folk, chanson, jazz, psychedelic rock, electronics and experimentation. For its anniversary night, Humpty Dumpty brings together Half Asleep, Coraline Gaye, Yôkaï and Maniac Maison.

This evening marks the launch of Lefto presents Jazz Cats Vol. 4 with an exciting triple bill. The series brings together new voices from the Belgian jazz scene and has previously given a platform to artists including Glass Museum and Commander Spoon. For the release of Jazz Cats Vol. 4, Kuna Maze Live Band, ᖴOᑌTᒪOOᔕ and Lupo Spaccaro take the stage.
