De Gelukkig Zijn Sessies on tour: practice Dutch while singing

Keen to practice Dutch in a playful way? Want to meet new people? Curious about Flemish culture? Then De Gelukkig Zijn Sessies are just the thing for you! Once a month we practice the language by singing together. It’s great fun and, above all, it’s free.

After the success of previous years, we’re going on tour again: every month you’ll find us in a different community centre in Brussels. We provide a cheerful pianist and singer to lead the group, plus a drink to lubricate the vocal cords. Together, you’ll sing well-known and more obscure Dutch songs—building vocabulary while discovering more about Flemish culture. Don’t worry: you don’t have to be a good singer to join - enthusiasm is all you need. Participation is free.
