Lefto (from the French lève-tôt, “early bird”) has been a defining voice in the Belgian and international music scene for over twenty years. Known for his iconic shows on Studio Brussel and his work as a DJ and record collector, he effortlessly mixes genres from hiphop and jazz to funk. Through his own label Royale Records, he has created a breeding ground for new talent, and his documentaries and tireless search for hidden gems continue to inspire and influence music lovers worldwide.

The iconic Canadian band BADBADNOTGOOD are flying in especially to celebrate their friend with an exclusive live show! Over the past 15 years, the jazz ensemble from Toronto has crafted expansive music that moves between ’70s soul jazz, alternative hip hop, and experimental electronics.

Lander & Adriaan is a Belgian duo featuring drummer Lander Gyselinck (STUFF., Beraadgeslagen, Hihats In Trees) and Adriaan Van de Velde (Pomrad, Mauro Pawlowski, J. Bernardt). Their delightfully twisted mashup of ’90s Chicago juke, Detroit techno, UK funky, classic rave, playful jazz fusion, and sophisticated jazz improvisation transports you to a wonderfully off-kilter world of unguilty pleasures, funky weirdness, and pure excitement.

The Belgian-Bolivian artist Susobrino created his own sound by weaving traditional South American percussion music with electronic elements. His insatiable curiosity led him to collect and learn to play a wide variety of instruments.

As always, we close Sunday night with Lefto Early Bird himself. For the occasion, he presents a special AV set, taking us on a journey through 30 years of his career with both visuals and sound.
