Black History Month Belgium is set to launch its sixth edition in March 2024. After the last two successful editions, AB is excited to join forces with BHM once again.
This year’s theme is ‘New Beginnings: Celebrating Resurgence’, allowing BHM to draw attention to the strength and cultural richness of the Black communities in Belgium, focusing on their triumphs and resurgences.
In this context, AB has developed a programme for March full of new collaborations and emerging talent, aiming to bring people together through music. Our first priority is the official BHM launch party for all of Belgium. Everyone is welcome to attend on 2 March!
Then, on 8 March - International Women’s Day – you can look forward to a wonderful concert: Lady Blaxx Invites. As the name suggests, the fantastic Lady Blaxx has invited some of the best emerging female artists of colour to join her that evening: women who shatter stereotypes and are definitely worth discovering.
Lastly, on 21 March, David Numwami will be performing at AB and introducing his second EP ‘I LOVE YOU’.
