AB’s Solidarity Ticket blows out 3 candles this year. We launched this project in 2022, with one clear mission: to lower the financial threshold to our concert venue. Because music must be for everyone.
Since the launch of this project, almost 6,000 tickets have already been distributed through these initiatives: 854 solidarity tickets, 1,661 Paspartoe tickets, 718 UiTPAS tickets and 2,570 Article 27 tickets.
In order to reach the right people, we approached several Brussels organisations that work with people who are underprivileged or people who are new to Belgium. For example, Globe Aroma, Fedasil, Sister’s House, De Schakel, Chez Nous/Bij Ons, Brussels Platform Armoede can apply for free Solidarity Tickets for each concert on our programme so that they can organise cultural outings for the people they reach.
We also entered into partnerships with Article 27, Paspartoe, and UiTPAS in order to be able to welcome even more people to AB. Our partnership with UiTPAS has recently become supra-local, so that we can also give people outside Brussels the chance to attend our concerts.
· Make a donation: you can make one or more donations of €5 via this link . That money goes directly into the fund from which we provide the solidarity tickets.
· Freely chosen contribution at ticket purchase: When purchasing an AB concert ticket you can add a freely chosen amount to your order. You can support directly this way too!
· Cup Deposit: For every consumption at AB €0,10 goes to the fund. Every little bit helps!
