Avant-garde rock stars are back with: ‘Amsterdamage’
ConcertThe stars of the avant-garde rock scene, Palaye Royale, are back with a bang! With a sixth studio album, ‘Amsterdamage’, due out on 22 January, and a major world tour, the American trio are set to make a big splash.
Formed in 2008 in Las Vegas by the brothers Remington Leith, Sebastian Danzig and Emerson Barrett, Palaye Royale have now racked up over a billion streams thanks to hit tracks such as ‘Lonely’, ‘Mr. Doctor Man’ and ‘No Love In LA’. In 2024, they were devastated by the death of their mother, Stephanie Rachel, who passed away from cancer. She was the first to instil in them the belief that art is a priceless treasure, and she was also their greatest source of support. Faced with this ordeal, their creative bond became a force that helped them move forward together. Scheduled for release on 22 January, ‘Amsterdamage’ symbolises this rebirth, like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Written throughout 2025 between two intensive tours, the album took shape between San Diego and the Netherlands, before being finalised in Los Angeles at Chris Greatti’s studio (Poppy, YUNGBLUD, WILLOW). A first single is already available. Inspired by the British bands of the mid-2000s that shaped their youth, “Lost In Translation” is an explosive track, tailor-made for the stage, which bodes well for this new album and the accompanying tour.
