Through this residency, a number of Volta residents receive additional creative support from the AB team. This support can range from production assistance for a club show to video and livestream recordings, as well as support for releases.

In only a few years, Volta has emerged as an indispensable organisation in the network that develops young musical talent in Brussels. The music centre provides a place where musicians can be guided and supported during their artistic journey, in a qualitative and sustainable way.

Why the collaboration with AB? Because we are able to help the Volta residents with elements that are more difficult to cover within Volta’s regular operations. Think: production assistance for preparing a fully-fledged Club show, help with filming a video clip or livestream, support in the release of a debut album,… So we are happy  to help and always do so based on the needs of the artist!
