Thu 5 Feb ’26: bodies presents “quiero amor” + Suzan Peeters
Suzan Peeters is a Brussels-based accordionist and improvising musician who experiments with sound colors and pushes the boundaries of her instrument, often in combination with electronics. She writes her own work, improvises, and also performs contemporary classical music.
The Brussels band bodies (please note the lowercase!) released their impressive debut quiero amor via Igloo Records, following several EPs and performances at the AB. Their music, inspired by artists such as Björk and Nubya Garcia, combines raw saxophone melodies, synthesizers, and street sounds with a strong political and social message. The band consists of saxophonist Alejandra Borzyk, pianist Camille-Alban Spreng, drummer Elie Gouleme, and bassist Mateusz Malcharek.
Thu 5 Feb ’26: Colt + Isaac
Things are going fast for the Brussels pop duo Colt, formerly known as Coline & Toitoine, the likable and musically very talented young pair who made a big impression during the 2019 Sound Track edition. Colt is the harmonious fusion of Coline’s voice and raw emotion with Toitoine’s whimsical, enchanting, almost lunar universe.
Fri 6 Feb ’26: ONHA + Soless
ONHA is a Belgian-Ivorian rapper with raw energy and a powerful visual universe that challenges traditional formats. Inspired by jazz, soul, reggae, and contemporary alternative scenes, ONHA develops a direct and bold style of rap. Fewer compromises, more fire. His gripping lyrics, sprinkled with a touch of craziness, create a unique, raw, and connective form of alternative hip-hop.
Fri 6 Feb ’26: GHOSTWOMAN
The Canadian/Belgian duo GHOSTWOMAN will present their latest album, “Welcome to the Civilized World.” The record embodies their uncompromising collaboration, a clash of rusty guitars and pounding drums. Musically, the album blends psych-grunge, decayed Americana, and intense improvisation, with lyrics serving more as abstract textures than meaningful messages.
Sat 7 Feb ’26: KETCLUB: Johannes is Zijn Naam
Afternoon concert for the very youngest. KETCLUB is a full-fledged concert, but designed for children. Artists play a shorter set at a lower volume of 90 dB, perfect for sensitive little ears. A unique outing in a warm and cozy setting is guaranteed!
Sat 7 Feb ’26: Johannes is Zijn Naam
Our most cabaret-style singer-songwriter presents their second album
This is a message from Johannes from the future. After days and months of activity, with co-cosmonaut Dijf Sanders at the controls, a new piece in the Johannes is Zijn Naam universe is now being opened to the public.
Sun 8 Feb ’26: Ronker + Wijf, HEISA
In 2026 we celebrate the 50th anniversary of punk. There’s no better way to close the Week of Belgian Music than with a homegrown punk show.
On their second album, Ronker sounds more ambitious and mature than ever without betraying their melting-pot mentality. An album written about rock & roll. An album about gnawing on the bone until all the marrow is gone. After tearing apart the club scene, it’s now the AB-box’s turn. Without a doubt, the biggest headline show in the band’s career. Expect horns, bells, and extra RONK. As the band themselves say: “Respect the hustle.”
