One of the most influential bands in their scene for 20 years now
Silverstein has been setting the tone of the post-hardcore and emo scenes for 20 years now. Early on in the 2000’s with classics like 'Discovering the Waterfront' and 'When Broken Is Easily Fixed', but they are still at it in 2020… as evidenced by the recent release of 'A Beautiful Place To Drown'. Guitarist Paul Marc Rousseau says the following of it: “To me, the best way to honor the anniversary is to keep doing what got us this far. Being adventurous has always been part of what the band does — we keep focusing on moving forward.”
The 20th birthday of the Canadian band should have been celebrated in 2020 but, for well-known reasons, we will be waiting a year to have the party. Be sure to mark May 2021 on your calendar already, for a night full of old and new work.
