New work by Brussels-based electro-acoustic ambient duo
Due to the artist's illness the ABnormal MAZE & LINDHOLM concert, originally planned on Friday 23 October will be postponed to a new date that has yet to be confirmed. Tickets stay valid for the new date.
The safety of artists, fans and staff is our top priority and we will monitor things closely.
You will be contacted personally by e-mail as soon as the new date is known.
This concert is an ABnormal clubconcert. During these concerts, wearing a mask is mandatory and only bubbles of 2 (or a multiplication of 2 ) people can be seated.
You can read more about the ABnormal safety measures here.
The duo Maze & Lindholm is Pierre De Mûelenaere and Otto Lindholm. Both are important players in Brussels’ experimental music scene and are known and loved far further afield too – via their many collaborations and projects.
We mainly know Pierre as ½ of Orphan Swords – who have been shaking things up on stages (& dancefloors) pretty much all over Europe in recent years, with their heavy electronic industrial.
Aside from his wonderful solo work on double bass, we also know Otto Lindholm from collabs with the likes of Ben Bertrand, Throwing Snow or Jean D.L.
Together, they create superb ethereal ambient soundscapes whereby they immerse the listener in a ‘meditative silence’.
The duo will reside at AB for a week in October and shall present their new album (out on Bedouin records) to an audience within the exclusive setting of the AB Club. It will be a unique audio-visual concert, with images from video-artist Tatsuya Fujimoto.
