Snotty Brussels-based art-rock ensemble in double-bill with exciting New Wave duo from the Netherlands

Another Dancer
Brussels-based Another Dancer is outdated, wild at heart and elegantly shy. They make fresh, snotty, neurotic art-rock deeply rooted in 80s/90s DIY aesthetics. Their debut-album ‘I Try to Be Another Dancer’, out on Aguirre and Bruit Direct, balances gently between forgotten pop hits and broken sound experiments. In their world, any shitload of weird, random, and badly synchronized sounds unveil broken-hearted pop mastery. 

Pol
Pol consists of brothers Ruben Pol and Matthijs Pol. The duo is inspired musically by bands like Depeche Mode, The Cure, Japan, New Order and Visage. They have created a unique world in which they effortlessly combine their passion for music and fashion. They use their experiences as successful models (having worked for brands like Saint Laurent, Gucci, Fendi, Valentino and Dior, amongst others) to bring the rush of the fashion world to their music.
 
Their show at Noorderslag in January 2024 was showered with rave reviews and their latest single Masks has us expecting the best for this sensational new romantic / new wave band.

This is a Liveurope concert: the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to promote emerging European music.
