After an excessively long holiday, Das Pop is gearing up for a pop party of sorts.
As debut album I Love will soon turn twenty-five, you could call it a birthday party.
Founding members Bent Van Looy and Niek Meul talk about an overjoyed reunion with a battery of stanzas, choruses and jams they have been eagerly awaiting all these years. In the excellent company of a pack of top young musicians (Reinhard Vanbergen is concentrating on a dissertation and his musical projects these days), they are at the helm of the indestructible frigate Das Pop.
All aboard, then, for a crazy pop trip far beyond the horizon.
