Rock and photography, it's been a long and successful marriage, rock photography forming an art in itself.

With the start of the 30th concert season (1979 – 2009), AB cordially invites you to the AB Café/Resto. As of Tuesday 15 September you can visit Alex Vanhee's Photo-Wall, and the exhibition by first AB Inhouse Photographer Piet Janssens (season ’08-’09) in the As of this season, Iggy Pop, Grace Jones, Oasis, Arno and many others can be admired in their full glory, in the AB Café! Rock photographer Alex Vanhee browsed through his collection of AB snapshots and presents them to the general public in the AB Café. Take a glance back at the Ancienne Belgique's rich history by means of the memorable moments he has captured.

In the same breath, we also look to the future. The AB has been investing in musical talent for decades, but now also offers promising photographers the opportunity to fully unfurl their talents. On 14 September the AB will announce the identity of its second Inhouse Photographer. He/She will be taken under the wings of Alex Vanhee himself.

Be sure to also visit the AB Resto between 14 September and the end of October 2009. There you'll find a selection of photos exhibited by Piet Janssens, first AB Inhouse Photographer from the previous ’08-’09 season.
