To strengthen the reception and ticketing team, we are looking for a student/flexi-worker to keep the reception counter open.
Ancienne Belgique is a vibrant music temple in the heart of Brussels with a passion for young talent and established names. Niche and mainstream. Adventurous and genre-transcending. Through some 400 concerts and projects per year, we do our best to give more than 300,000 visitors an unforgettable experience. All this is managed by a motivated team of some 65 permanent staff.
Job
- You are the central point of contact at AB for visitors and colleagues.
- You open and close the reception counter (10:00 am – 6:00 pm).
- You sell tickets and promptly & professionally assist customers.
- You answer visitors’ questions via phone and email.
Profile
- You are able to work under student or flexi-worker status. You speak and write well in Dutch, French and English.
- You are punctual, responsible and always ready to help.
- You are a customer- and solution-oriented thinker, show patience and understanding. You like to learn new things and work accurately.
- You have a sense of initiative, work well independently but can also work in a team. You are assertive and stress-resistant.
- Enthusiasm, customer friendliness and motivation are more important than diplomas. You are available at least 2 days/week.
- You are available for the entire concert season (September 2025 - June/July 2026). Knowledge of the cultural sector is a plus.
