Ancienne Belgique is a vibrant music temple in the heart of Brussels with a passion for young talent and established names. Through some 400 concerts and projects per year, we do our best to give more than 300,000 visitors an unforgettable experience. All this is managed by a motivated team of some 65 permanent staff.
To strengthen our communications team, we’re looking for a content creator for our brand-new AB Lab initiative.
AB Lab is key to AB’s transformation from a concert venue to a music house. We’re creating an accessible space for artists, young people and creative collectives to experiment, learn and grow. With music at its heart, AB Lab is a nesting ground for talent development, cross-pollination and artistic innovation.
We’re collaborating with organisations both inside and outside Brussels on topics such as inclusivity, decolonisation and intersectionality, pushing both the sector and ourselves to keep evolving.
Job description:

- You will support our content team with concert promotion during peak periods.
Profile:
- You have some experience with content creation.
- You have a good sense for trends, humour and timing.

- You’re familiar with the Brussels music scene or are already part of it.
- You’re familiar with some of the city’s youth initiatives and collectives.
- You have wild ideas and can manifest them on our communication channels.
- You’re not shy and don’t mind being on camera.
- You are stress resistant and know how to organise your work independently.
- You are committed to positive and inclusive communication, with colleagues as well as with artists and audiences.
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English.
Our offer:
- A temporary assignment for at least 18 months.
