Cinematic, melancholic and surprisingly intense
ConcertOver the past two decades, Copenhagen-based composer, producer and musician Anders Trentemøller has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music. Never one to stand still, Trentemøller’s music moves freely between post-rock, electronica, shoegaze, dark wave and alternative rock, always driven by melody, atmosphere and emotional depth.
His forthcoming album, out 13 November 2026, marks another bold evolution. Across ten songs, it embraces bigger contrasts than ever before “the noisy gets noisier, the dreamy grows dreamier, and the melodies become even more immediate” as Trentemøller puts it. Written, produced, performed and mixed by Trentemøller himself, the new album balances crushing walls of guitar noise with intimate, bittersweet songwriting, while retaining the meticulous production and cinematic storytelling that have defined his work since The Last Resort.
On stage, these songs come to life with Trentemøller's acclaimed live band featuring Emma Acs (vocals/synths), Silas Tinglef (drums), Brian Batz (guitar), Jacob Haubjerg (bass/guitar) and Anders Trentemøller (synths). Their performances transform the studio recordings into dynamic audiovisual experiences that seamlessly shift between delicate intimacy and overwhelming sonic climaxes.
