‘POST / EVERYTHING’-TOUR
American indie rock/post-punk band The Sheila Divine will descend on Brussels on 28 May 2026. As part of their “Post / Everything” tour, the band around frontman Aaron Perrino will bring an exclusive show full of old favourites, rare tracks as well as brand new work. It will also be their only Belgian club show of 2026. Tickets go on sale from Friday 4 July at 11am via greenhousetalent.com.
The Sheila Divine grew into a cult band in the late 90s, loved for their powerful mix of indie rock, post-punk and emotional intensity. With albums like “New Parade” and “Where Have My Countrymen Gone”, they made a lasting impression, scoring radio hits like “Like a Criminal”, “Hum” and “Automatic Buffalo”.
After a sold-out Belgian tour in 2025 - during which love for the band reignited in full force - The Sheila Divine are back. Not to cling to the past, but to show that the story is far from over.
‘We're not done,’ says frontman/guitarist Aaron Perrino. "This tour isn't about looking back. It's about the throughline - what's changed, what hasn't, and what's still on its way. We're still making music. We're still chasing the spark."
During the show at Ancienne Belgique, fans can expect a set full of classics, forgotten gems as well as brand new material - some of which will be played live for the first time.
The Romans, one of the most beloved Belgian power pop bands of the 1980s and 1990s, are returning to the stage. At the invitation of The Sheila Divine, the band will be playing at the Ancienne Belgique once again, exactly thirty years after the release of their iconic single ‘Someday Cindy’.
The group formed in the late 1980s and quickly made it to the silver medal in Humo’s Rock Rally. In the years that followed, The Romans built a strong reputation with their melodic, guitar-driven power pop — akin to bands such as The Replacements, The Posies and Hüsker Dü. They released six albums, scored several radio hits and garnered a loyal alternative following as well as rave reviews.
Their biggest success came in 1996 with ‘Someday Cindy’, which won them the audience award at Studio Brussel and earned them the chance to open the Axion Beach Rock Festival. In 2000, the band bid farewell to a packed Laeyensplein during Marktrock Leuven, followed by a few sporadic reunions.
Since 2016, The Romans have been popping up now and then with their Roman Powerpop Roadshow, an energetic tribute to their guitar heroes. The show at the AB marks their first official return in years — and straight away at a venue where their music has always found a warm reception. A unique opportunity to see one of the most underrated yet influential Belgian powerpop bands back in action.
