French duo The Limiñanas isn’t averse to a sturdy trip! Formed in 2009 by Lionel and Marie Limiñana, the band became one of the most distinctive names of the modern French rock scene. Their music is a mix of psychedelic rock, garage rock and yé-yé, a style from the ‘60s that was characterised by French pop music. 

They are known for their hypnotic, cinematic sound containing influences from bands like The Velvet Underground, but just as much from Serge Gainsbourg and American garage rock of the ‘60s. Expect a musical soundtrack with minimalistic, repetitive elements and French & English vocals. Combining vintage influences with a modern twist, The Limiñanas create a mysterious mood. A little weird and very mesmerising.
