Trudge Lightly album release concert

Brussels’ improvisation artist Yan Lau and American musician/composer Gray – who you no doubt know from his band On Fillmore and collaborations with the likes of Jim O’Rourke, Tweedy, Glenn Kotche, Gastr Del Sol, Chris Corsano, Loren Connors, Kevin Drumm... – will put out a double 10” /photobook on March 20 via Brussels label By the Bluest of Seas.

The album contains a number of stunning improvisations whereby Lau, aside from using her usual toy pianos and prepared piano, operates synth & electronica and Gray shines (as always) on (contra)bass and mainly works on sound and timbre here.

They come to launch the album in the AB Salon on the eve of a European tour.
