Equal Idiots are ready for action! The duo recently released a stunner of a new single. ‘I Am The Light’ is the perfect teaser as a preview for their third album. After a summer full of festivals in Belgium, including a spot on the main stage of Rock Werchter, Equal Idiots are already gearing up for autumn with a new live show.
Equal Idiots - in their own words ‘two idiots from Hoogstraten City’ - have been making uncompromising garage punk since 2012. Thibault Christiaensen goes wild on guitar and microphone, while Pieter Bruurs smashes his drum skins. After winning ‘De Nieuwe Lichting’ in 2016 and reaching the final of Humo's Rock Rally, the two guys were launched on the road to success. Their second single ‘Put My Head In The Ground’ (2017) spent five weeks at the top of ‘The Settlement’. In 2020, they presented their second album ‘Adolescence Blues Community’ in front of a packed Ancienne Belgique. With a bunch of Tasmanian devils like this, high-energy performances are guaranteed to perfection. After four years, Equal Idiots is back with deeper, uplifting music that moves everyone.
