Patron saint girl next door introduces debut album
With her voice, guitar and story, Emmy d'Arc takes the audience in and draws them into her lived-in music. On stage, the disarming girl next door is unrecognizable and surprising. We recently saw her perform as supporting act for Amy Macdonald, Birdy, Walk of the Earth, Zonrik and Mimi Webb, among others. She has also performed on several major festival stages including Pukkelpop, Gent Jazz, Nostalgie Beach Festival and M-Idzomer in Leuven. Behind her smile lurks a perfectionist full of ambition. So it's no coincidence that her name is an ode to the unyielding French heroine Joan of Arc, you'll notice when you experience her impressive performances! Emmy's long-awaited debut album will be released in 2024. All songs were written, mastered and elaborated from her own perspective. She partnered with grandmaster Jean Blaute, from which a beautiful collaboration flowed. Emmy stands for simplicity and sincerity.
