Do you want to start DJing but you’re not sure where to start or what material is best to use? Do you need a little push? Then this two-day workshop is just for you! Expect an introduction to rekordbox and CDJs, an initiation in mixing (beatmatching and other techniques) and time to practise too, of course.
Together with DJ Rrita Jashari, we provide a nice environment in which to gain more confidence in yourself and behind the turntables. Jashari has a big love of heavy basslines and surprising beats – standing still during her sets is almost impossible. With an extra dash of female energy, she makes her mixes pure fun. As a member of 54KOLAKTIV and 54 Sound, bi-monthly resident at Kiosk Radio and programmer at Beursschouwburg, she is the dream host for this workshop.

Practical info
Level: Beginner (no previous knowledge needed).
Necessary material: your own headphones, about 10 songs, your own laptop, the latest version of rekordbox installed (this software is free) and a USB-stick is always handy.
