Youth from Brussels curate an evening full of art and music at AB 

Shining a spotlight on creative Brussels youth with heaps of talent: that’s the aim of BIG in BXL.   
Together with youth organisation JES, we organise a residence at AB. That is a week full of workshops and masterclasses that will assist the aspiring artists in the development of new ideas and techniques.  

The unique creations that result (music, theatre, photography, video, video projection, and graphic design) are presented to the public on the final day of the residence during a big show moment. A wonderful opportunity for the young generation to showcase their work before a broad audience and thereby further develop as artists.  

As an audience, it’s the chance to discover emerging talent! Clearly a night not to be missed, as right now they’re still BIG IN BXL but they might soon be BIG far further afield …  

Talent in front of and behind the screens 

The young artists are involved in all aspects of the festival. Together with those working at JES Brussels and AB, they not only shape the programme but also take charge of the communication, technical and production aspects. The result is an evening brimming with Brussels talent, both in the spotlight and behind the scenes.
