What is Youth L’AB?
Youth L’AB is AB’s laboratory for multilingual youngsters of Brussels. For a year, these multi-talented youngsters were part of the AB Team. They got to know the inner workings of AB, they curated a line-up together with Stoemp! for the very own Stoemp! x Youth L’AB stage at Brussel Brost and now they present their own one-day festival: COLLISION
What to expect!
Podcast ‘In The Lab’
Running up to the event, Youth L’AB has been recording a podcast titled “In The Lab” (coming soon) It is a 5 episode series that focuses on the insides of the music industry, the life of artists and what surrounds this profession.
The line-up features a diverse group of talented musicians, taking the audience on a captivating journey through various genres: alt-rock, hip-hop / rap, R&B, pop and soul.
Lyna is an ambitious singer who thrives well within the R&B-, Pop- and Soul scene. Since she was a child, she used to sing a lot with her father, who is a well-known Moroccan musician.
All-Turn is the stage name of Asante Brochez, a 22 year old Belgian rap-artist, with Zambian origins. Growing up around Ghent, All-Turn started rapping in 2018. Since then, he's been busy writing lyrics and voicing his vision and identity on experimental, yet familiar hip-hop beats.
"When you put your heart into what you do,you can only be happy!” That’s the philosophy of White Corbeau, a rising star on the Belgian music scene, who sings and raps in both English and French.
Nemode is an alternative rock duo from Brussels made of Furyo and Nina, two young artists dedicated to pushing back the boundaries of their creativity.
The last part of the evening will be an interactive one. Everyone will be encouraged to participate in an improvisational jam session with a band of professional musicians, blurring the lines between performer and audience. This is the very concept where the title of the event comes from, so come and collide together!
