The hall itself is unfortunately still empty, but on stage at AB there is fortunately still quite a bit happening! Look back on the best live streams of this spring with us.
- Naïma Joris
Her wonderful voice and disarming lockdown covers made Naïma Joris the virtual BelPop sensation of this past year. The ideal stepping-stone to her debut EP, on which she sings her way through the loss of her sister. She launched that EP in a livestream from out of AB, and the singles ‘Bellybutton’ and ‘Soon’ cut right to the bone. Be enchanted once more by the magical sounds of Naïma and her band.
- Marka
Marka marked his 60th birthday in an empty AB: see the concert film. The Marka Family Style concert has been moved to 27/05/2022! That’s exactly 1 year later, but there is also good news: on the original date of the concert, Marka celebrated his 60th birthday anyway, in an empty AB! So view the concert film on our YouTube channel now, as a foretaste of what to expect next year!
- Jaouad
Singer, actor, dancer, director, activist, in short general multi-talented Jaouad Alloul and his 5-piece band, dressed as superheroes, climbed the stage of the Great Hall for a session with songs that are so catchy that you can remember them for a long time after watching the atmospheric report below, you'll continue to hum the tunes. Be warned!
The Belgian Pride and AB joined forces for a talk about the well-being, the physical, mental and social health of the LGBTQIA+ community. Stephen Barris (coordinator of Ex Aequo), Lucie Allo (head of the Sex & Co project: the Laique federation of family planning centers) and Mark Sergeant (policy officer MSM) entered into conversation with moderator Aïda Yancy (project manager EqualCity in Rainbowhouse). Watch the entire talk on our Facebook page.
