With ‘No Music on a Dead Planet’, each month we highlight an ecological initiative.

This time, our colleague Fred (Fredje Plombier) will talk about the measures he has put in place to save energy and water. He lets us in on the secret his ingenious homemade airing cupboard. Some of the warm air from the ventilation system is rerouted and used to dry out the laundry in our cupboard. Fred has also placed gravel-filled bottles in the reservoirs of our toilets. Normally, you use about 6 litres of water when flushing the toilet. Thanks to Fred’s bottles, that’s been reduced to 4.5 litres. With 343,086 visitors in 2023, that’s going to save us a lot of water. These simple changes can have a huge impact on our planet.
