The fifth floor of AB is where fingers are kept on the musical pulse. We have five programmers, and each has different tastes, though they do sometimes overlap. In this weekly item, we present a great record and a playlist featuring the programmer’s favourite tunes of the moment. This week it’s Marc’s choice!

Marc’s musical interests are highly diverse. And this broad taste is joyfully reflected in the programmes he puts together. From Gotye’s tranquil indie sounds via the frisky beats of Buraka Som Sistema and the irresistible voice of Grace Jones to the rhythmic guitar work of Rodrigo & Gabriela. His track record also includes the likes of Lhasa, Tjens Matic, Ibeyi, Rufus Wainwright, Wilco and Natalie Merchant.
