Completely unexpected comeback, retour fulgurant!

co-prod. with Progress, and photographer Mathieu Vitre

Intensely agitated electro-pop of North French origin, but (for many reasons) there is quite some common ground with Bloc Party. After a break of a few years, now back together around fierce frontman Mat Bastard and with brand new material that apparently sounds very relevant in the current French context.

For fans of Bloc Party, Skunk Anansie, Hyphen Hyphen, etc etc
In the press In reference to Leffingeleuren 2012, Gunter Van Assche (De Morgen) wrote the following about this concert: 'Dé verrassing van het weekend bleek Skip The Use, een Franse rockgroep die hilariteit aan hyperkinesie verbond... Smerig, luidruchtig en hitsig: zo kennen we die Fransen wel!'
AB fun fact Our man on the spot in Leffinge ascertained with awe: 'Vanaf noot één sleepten ze de hele tent mee in een energieke danstrip vol strak gespeelde popsongs met vijf minuten lang ‘we want more’-geroep als resultaat. Faut le faire als onbekende band om 16u op een vervlogen (sic?) zaterdag in Leffinge.' And so he booked them off the bat for the Main Hall of AB, March '13.
Fun fact They sometimes play a cover of 'I Was Made For Lovin' You' (by, who was that again?)
