In november 2000 a youthful Coldplay presented its debut album Parachutes in AB. The freshly released record immediately received tons of attention in home country England and Coldplay was dubbed “The Next Big Thing” by critics. Europe still needed to be convinced so the band played a showcase in AB. Chris Martin even asked the very limited crowd “does anyone know who we are?”.
