Op 'Jean', opgedragen aan haar overleden grootmoeder, balanceert Yebba’s indrukwekkende stem tussen beheerste kracht en pure kwetsbaarheid.

Yebba, geboren als Abigail Elizabeth Smith in West Memphis (Arkansas), groeide op met gospel en zong als kind in de kerk van haar vader. Die spirituele roots vormen nog steeds het kloppend hart van haar muziek. Met haar krachtige, emotioneel geladen stem weet ze moeiteloos vuur en kwetsbaarheid te combineren. Ze werd bij het grote publiek bekend via haar YouTube-kanaal en haar opvallende passage in Saturday Night Live naast Chance the Rapper.

Op zaterdag 5 september stelt ze haar album voor in AB en er zijn nog tickets.
