Our House Rules
AB values the well-being and safety of its visitors. That is why we ask everyone who enters our building to respect the house rules. Anyone breaking the rules may be denied access without refund of their ticket purchase.
AB rejects any form of physical or verbal violence, harassment or disrespectful behaviour. We do not tolerate racism, sexual intimidation, aggression, discrimination or homophobic behaviour. Our stewards, security, volunteers and staff are ready to help if you see something happen that doesn’t comply with our house rules. You can mail us via info@abconcerts.be. We take all complaints seriously and deal with them as soon as possible.
Please take care of yourself and each other.
Prohibited (goods)
You are not permitted to bring the following items into AB:
- Recording material, with the exception of your mobile phone or smartphone.
- Drinks or snack that have not been purchased in AB.
- Pets. Want to attend a concert with an assistance dog? Let us know here.
- Pocket knives and other weapons. These will be confiscated by security.
- Soft or hard drugs. The possession, use or dealing of drugs is prohibited in AB.
It is also forbidden to:
- smoke in AB. You may have cigarettes and electronic cigarettes in your possession, but those wishing to smoke during a concert must go outside to do so. AB clearly displays the smoking ban and make smokers aware of the ban. We work together with the Ministry of Public Health, which carries out regular checks in our venue and issues fines.
- drink alcohol, if you are younger than 16 years old, or to drink spirits if you are under the age of 18. If in doubt, the bar staff may request proof of identity to verify your age. AB complies with current legislation on offering alcohol to its visitors. Details can be found on the website of the Flemish Centre of Expertise on Alcohol and other Drugs. (link: www.vad.be) Visitors under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry.
General Safety
- AB is equipped with camera surveillance for your and our safety. Visitors to AB accept that they may be recorded on camera. In the event of any incidents, these recordings may be shown to third parties as supporting material.
- Instructions from staff should be followed immediately in the interest of your own safety.
- Criminal offences committed in AB are always reported to the police.
- There is no minimum age for attending a concert or event in AB. However, we do expect that children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult. For all concerts (with the exception of KETCLUB), children also need a valid ticket.
